‘Boring, boring, boring…
If you only read three things on this page, let them be:
-
- Mr. Tappy is a tiny business set up by me, Nick. with good intentions – to help people do their job better and make better products as a result.
- I’m designer, production manager, call centre, support person, and even skateboard down the road to drop your Mr Tappy at the courier despatch place. So you’re dealing with me. A person.
- If anything should not be as you’d hoped, email me nick@mrtappy.com and I’ll do my best to make things better for you, because that’s what I set out to do in the first place.
Quality of product
We’re proud to ship a quality product. Mr. Tappy is made in small batches to a high standard. Any blemishes on the product are a result of the production process and should be considered cosmetic. These will not impact the function of the product.
Camera compatibility
We do our best to check Mr. Tappy works on the various operating systems out there, but when the big boys change their stuff, it could mean our stuff doesn’t play with theirs. If Microsoft or Mac change their mind on whether their next version of OS will support the camera, it’s not something we have a say in. We’ll sell you the camera in good faith, but can’t take responsibility for these issues. We’ll do out best to suggest fixes and workarounds though.
Viewer compatibility
Mr. Tappy’s viewer is a FREE product, there for anyone – Mr. Tappy customer or not – to use. It’s not guaranteed to work on every computer.
I’ve done my best to make that clear, and suggest you test drive it first before doing anything which is critical to your business / project.

Shipping & Despatch
We use a ‘4-6 business day’ courier service. This is not a guaranteed time frame, but a fairly reliable guideline.
Having said that, it’s rare for Mr. Tappy to take longer than 10 days to the USA or Europe.
Countries in Asia, South America, Middle East almost always take longer than USA/Europe.
The parcel will be tracked and a signature is required on delivery.
We may not despatch on the day of purchase but if we’re in stock, it will be despatched the same or next working day.
If you need your Mr. Tappy in a hurry, expedited shipping can be arranged for an additional $35USD. To arrange this, once you’ve placed your order, contact nick@mrtappy.com and I’ll send a PayPal request.
Be there or be square
We use a ‘signed for’ international courier service. this means somebody needs to be at the shipping address, during working hours, to sign for the item when it is delivered. If the courier calls and you’re not there, they will leave a card for you to make other arrangements. These arrangements, collection from depots or subsequent deliveries are your responsibility.
Customs & Duty
Please note that we take no responsibility for the payment of customs duties, import and other such taxes or levies as the freighted product may attract. Payment of such fees remains the responsibility of the purchaser.
Please be aware that some countries’ customs officials may hold purchases until these taxes and/or duties are paid and this may cause delays to delivery.
